Northwestern Medicine opens new ophthalmology clinic

NAPERVILLE - Northwestern Medicine's Regional Medical Group has added ophthalmology to its specialized health care services available in Chicago's West suburbs. Comprehensive care for a full spectrum of eye diseases is now available at Northwestern Medicine Naperville, Suite 300, located at 636 Raymond Drive.

The first two physicians to join the new practice are Drs. Michael Andreoli and Michelle Andreoli, board-certified ophthalmologists. Michael Andreoli specializes in retinal surgery including ocular tumors, retinal detachment surgery, vitrectomy surgery and macular degeneration. Michelle Andreoli provides general medical eye care. Her areas of practice include cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration screening, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye and ocular hypertension.

"Northwestern Medicine is thrilled the Andreolis are launching our new clinic in the Western suburbs. Both are accomplished physicians who share a steadfast commitment to ocular health and vision preservation," said Dr. Nicholas J. Volpe, chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Northwestern Medicine.
