New Lou Malnati's Pizzeria to open in Aurora

AURORA - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, based in Northbrook, said it will open a new restaurant at 2365 N. Farnsworth Ave. in Aurora late this summer.

The building is now under construction and the pizzeria is located in a multitenant retail building, adjacent to Jimmy John's and Noodles and Company, at the corner of Farnsworth and Premium Outlet Boulevard.

This location will be the deep-dish pizza chain's second Aurora location. The new store, at approximately 1,900 square feet, will offer carryout and delivery only, as well as catering services.

In addition, Malnati's will hire approximately 50 employees. The company is looking to fill various positions including delivery drivers, kitchen crew and phone staff. Interested applicants may apply online at www.loumalnatis.com/careers.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in business this year, Lou Malnati's operates more than 60 Chicago and suburban restaurants, in addition to pizzerias in Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Phoenix.

"We're excited to bring our authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza to Aurora on Farnsworth and serve more of the vibrant Aurora community," said Marc Malnati, son of the restaurant's founder. "We're committed to providing jobs at our restaurants while supporting the local neighborhoods."
