Barnes & Noble to close one location, reopen in Algonquin

ALGONQUIN — Barnes & Noble Thursday said it will relocate its Spring Hill Mall Shopping Center store and open a new bookstore in the nearby Algonquin Commons Shopping Center on Oct. 6.

The new bookstore will showcase a fresh design and layout with a focus on providing a warm and welcoming environment for browsing along with a locally tailored selection curated by our expert booksellers, the company said. A Barnes & Noble Café serving Starbucks coffees along with a selection of pastries will also be found at the new location.

In preparation for the move, Barnes & Noble will close its Spring Hill Mall Shopping Center location in West Dundee on Tuesday, Oct. 5, the company said.
