Colony Display acquires Braeside Displays in Antioch

ELGIN - Colony Display LLC, an Elgin-based designer, manufacturer and installer of highly customized fixtures, exhibits and displays, Tuesday announced the acquisition of Braeside Displays in Antioch.

Braeside Displays is a leading independent point-of-purchase display manufacturer. The transaction was completed in partnership with Braeside's management, the two companies said. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 1975, Braeside specializes in the design, engineering and manufacturing of stock and custom point-of-purchase store displays. Braeside brings expertise in plastics to Colony's capabilities in wood and metal display manufacturing for the home improvement and retail industries.

Over the years, Braeside has built a strong, cross-functional team of creative design, engineering and manufacturing personnel that is led by Braeside's President and CEO, Nathan Kelly. Kelly will join Colony as senior vice president of customer strategy and development.

Colony Display is owned by Kinzie Capital Partners, a Chicago based private equity firm.
