NDS recertified in IT security standards

SCHAUMBURG - Network Data Systems received its three-year recertification in the industry's most stringent security requirements and standards, the company said.

NDS provides information technology infrastructure services to some of the nation's largest and most complex corporations and government agencies. The recertification means the company's data security controls meet the standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

The standards ensure proper ongoing management of information security and privacy risks that can affect confidentiality, integrity and corporate and personal information availability.

"NDS's commitment to privacy supports our channel partners and clients at the highest level, which has become increasingly important due to global threats and the rapidly changing IT environment in the COVID-19 era," said Scott Frum, NDS's director of security.
