Parts Town acquires Dayton Appliance Parts

ADDISON - Parts Town has acquired the assets of Dayton Appliance Parts Co., a leading Midwest distributor of residential appliance parts. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, Dayton Appliance Parts has been family owned and operated since 1937. The company operates from 12 locations in three states and features extensive inventory of original equipment parts for more than 100 residential appliance manufacturers.

"We are excited to partner with Dayton Appliance Parts and honored to have the opportunity to work with Tim and Bub Houtz, who have done a wonderful job building this great business," said Steve Snower, CEO of Addison-based Parts Town, a global food service equipment parts distributor.

Following the transaction, Tim Houtz, president, and Bub Houtz, vice president, will continue to lead the Dayton Appliance Parts team working closely with David Wenger, who leads and supports several businesses within the Parts Town family, the company said.
