The Wheel Group acquires Tuff Stuff Overland

ROSEMONT - The Wheel Group, a company purchased earlier this year by Rosemont-based Wynnchurch Capital, announced the acquisition of Tuff Stuff Overland. Tuff Stuff is an e-commerce platform of outdoor automotive accessory products.

Tuff Stuff offers a overland adventure gear, including roof top tents, truck bed racks, awnings and related accessories.

"Tuff Stuff is an outstanding company with an excellent product portfolio that we believe perfectly complements our existing business. This acquisition will give our combined company the products to help continue our growth in the truck, SUV and car enthusiast markets," said David Williams, CEO of the Wheel Group.

Based in Ontario, California, The Wheel Group is a leading designer and distributor of branded aftermarket wheels, specialty tires and related accessories. Tuff Stuff is based in Santa Ana, California.
