ISACA launches blockchain guides

SCHAUMBURG - ISACA, a training and certification organization in the computer technology field, has two new resources for IT professionals and business leaders considering blockchain technology.

Blockchain has many enterprise applications that go beyond cryptocurrency, including smart contracts, supply chain and health care records, the organization said. ISACA offers two new products: Blockchain Framework and Guidance, and Blockchain: An Executive View.

"The benefits of this technology can be powerful, provided that enterprises have strong governance, controls and security protocols in place," said Ron Quaranta, chairman and CEO of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance. He is also a member of ISACA Emerging Technology Advisory Group and lead author of the Blockchain Framework and Guidance.
