So, how did Pulse come about?

"Fitness, specifically running, have been pivotal in my personal and professional development. Over the past few years, many life events have occurred- transitioning from undergraduate to graduate programs, and maintaining familial responsibilities. I have moved several times, met several people, lost touch with old friends, and created new experiences and so forth. Life has been very dynamic, but running and fitness have been constant. It is through running, I have been able to be grounded and find clarity on how to orient the next steps in life, and in my businesses. I have been training for and running a full marathon every year since 2016, (having just completed the 2020 TCS NYC Marathon) In other words, marathon running has been what has motivated me to continue to find passion and excitement in life." -Karishma Bali, Founder and CEO of Pulse Athletic Apparel

She created Pulse Athletic Apparel for this exact reason, to create a community aligned with the same vision. Karishma's vision is to connect like-minded people and encourage a community of authenticity, those empowered to create very intentional and meaningful life experiences. Pulse Athletic Apparel is not just an athletic apparel clothing line, but a movement, a vehicle encouraging, empowering, and exciting people to create life experiences that "get their pulse up."

At the forefront, Pulse Athletic Apparel creates high quality, luxurious athletic and athleisure apparel, making them affordable. (Specializing in running and yoga gear.)They believe in comfort and quality without breaking the bank, allowing for more ease of accessibility in the fitness industry.

Behind the scenes, Pulse Athletic Apparel is piloting a Startup 101 Professional Development Program for High School and College Students. Passionate about service and education, Karishma has developed a program for students introducing them to concepts of entrepreneurship like design thinking, marketing, and business operations. This will be launched in the upcoming spring semester for students interested in business and being at the forefront of an exciting new fitness startup.
