A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for The UPS Store located at 460 W Irving Park Road, Suite C, in Bensenville. Village President Frank DeSimone, Village Manager Evan K. Summers, Community Liaison Steve Skurski, and store Owner Jaime "Jimmy" Ochoa came together as the ceremonial red ribbon was cut. The locally owned and operated UPS Store offers a variety of services including in-store and online printing, document finishing, notary services, packing, shipping, and freight services.

Peter Agarwal, CEO/founder of Addison-based lighting manufacture LED Phantom, recently delivered on a pledge to donate 20,000 masks to area medical personnel and first responders in need of the PPE during the coronavirus pandemic. Among the recipients was Arlington Height-based nonprofit Clearbrook where David Boggs o Clearbrook, left and Agarwal hold some of the donated masks.

Isaiah Snapp and Yesenia Villagomez are recipients of the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission scholarship. Since 2008, the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission has awarded over $641,000 to individuals on Joliet's east side and Lockport School District 89 who are pursuing a degree in a health care-related field. Rieke Office Interiors in Elgin recently donated 20 SafeSpace Shields to A Safe Haven, a Chicago nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness. The shields will be placed at the nonprofit's lobby, intake space, education department, and other spaces where the job training and staffing teams can safely do face to face interviews during the COVID-19 pandemic.
