CityGate Hospitality names Bock VP sales & marketing

Hospitality industry veteran Cynthia Bock joined CityGate Hospitality LLC, the hospitality management arm of CityGate, as vice president, sales and marketing.

Bock is focused on increasing exposure of the CityGate entertainment and office campus in Naperville and making it a destination for locals, meeting planners and visitors.

Most recently, Bock spent over a decade as senior vice president leading sales, revenue management and marketing at Waterton, headquartered in Chicago. In March 2019, Waterton merged with Connecticut-based Waterford Hotel Group, Inc.; Bock was part of the team that created Waterton's hospitality division which was 13 hotels strong.

Bock has extensive sales experience working with every major hotel brand including, Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt and InterContinental Hotel Group. She started her career in Oak Brook has been a leader at a number of hotels throughout the United States.
