Ott joins Ice Miller's bankruptcy practice

Michael Ott recently joined Ice Miller's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice, where he counsels banks, financial institutions and other creditors in distressed situations.

He is experienced in all aspects of the workout, restructuring and bankruptcy process, providing clients with thorough analysis and creative solutions. Ott also has experience with commercial litigation, including litigation involving complex financial instruments and transactions.

Ott regularly advises clients on matters involving fraud, including Ponzi schemes, bank fraud, check kiting schemes and fraudulent transfers.

He earned his juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where he served as the senior managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal. Mike graduated from the College of William and Mary, where he majored in mathematics.
