MC Group acquires Icon Identity Solutions

ROLLING MEADOWS - Icon Identity Solutions has been acquired by Ohio-based MC Group for an undisclosed amount, according to Bowstring Advisors, a division of Citizens Capital Markets that served as financial advisor to MC Group,

MC Group, a portfolio company of Arcapita, is a provider of signage, lighting, electrical and brand management services. Icon, a portfolio company of Merit Capital Partners. is one of the nation's largest brand implementation companies, specializing in signage manufacturing and installation, sign and lighting maintenance, specialty services and commercial retail construction solutions.

"Over the last three years, MC Group has leveraged its unique asset-light model and established itself as the leading brand implementation business in the industry," said Jason Wallace, managing director at Bowstring. "The company's most recent acquisition further broadens its capabilities and is a testament to the strength of the management team."
