Two new retailers to open at Gurnee Mills

GURNEE - Gurnee Mills announced Akira and the Famous Footwear Outlet are joining the center later this summer.

The new stores add to the nearly 200 outlet, value and full-line retailers at the center, which underwent extensive renovations last year.

Akira expands high-end fashion and offers designer brands in-store such as Jeffrey Campbell, Melissa, Grey Ant, Mink Pink and For Love and Lemons, in addition to its own private labels. Akira joins Gurnee Mills in late August and will be located by Entrance B.

Famous Footwear Outlet offers styles for women, men, and kids from popular brands like Nike, Converse, Vans, Skechers and Asics. The footwear destination opens this fall and will be located near Center Court.
