Rep's to hold one-year birthday bash at Rolling Meadows park

Rep's Place sports bar will celebrate its anniversary of opening in downtown Rolling Meadows with a birthday bash Saturday, June 15, in Kimball Hill Park.

Rockin' in the Park is scheduled from 2 to 11 p.m. featuring bands, beers and burgers. A pig roast will be served at 4 p.m., which is also when music kicks off with new indie rock band Strange Heart.

From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Bon Jovi tribute band Bad Medicine performs, followed by classic rock cover group Lava Rock from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

An adopt-a-pet event with the Buddy Foundation will also be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
