Delta Dental names four to board

NAPERVILLE - Delta Dental of Illinois named four new members to its board of directions, who will each serve three-year terms.

• Darryl Rodgers is a vice president at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in Chicago where he works as a financial advisor responsible for providing investment and wealth planning advice to individuals and families. Rogers holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master's degree in management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

• Dean P. Malone is the vice president of finance and university officer at Midwestern University in Downers Grove where he has worked since 1981. He is responsible for the operating budget and financial operations of five large health clinics as well as the colleges of medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine, optometry, veterinary medicine, health sciences and graduate medical education.

• Dr. Cissy K. Furusho is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a private practice in Chicago. Furusho received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and graduated with her doctorate in dental surgery, pediatric certificate and master's in oral biology from UIC College of Dentistry.

• Dr. Ron Riggins is a general dentist with a private practice in Moline. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Dental Medicine. Riggins is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Rock Island District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
