Cooper Hong Inc., a brand development and public relations firm in St. Charles, has earned two 2018 MarCom Awards for marketing and communication excellence for projects developed during the past year. The international MarCom Awards program recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals from around the world.

CHI earned a Gold MarCom Award for its work on a six-page capital campaign brochure for St. Charles-based Lazarus House, and an honorable mention for the development of a four-page executive summary for Advanced Disposal's Midwest region offices in Batavia.

"We appreciate receiving such prestigious recognition from our industry peers," said Jane Cooper, president of Cooper Hong Inc. "Winning two MarCom awards this year validates the quality of our work and is a testament to the expertise and talent of our team at CHI."

Roughly 20 percent of the more than 6,000 print and digital entries in the global competition win the gold award, while another 10 percent of entries earn an honorable mention. Award winners include individual communicators, small- to mid-sized agencies, media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
