Workshop to address enhancing soft skills to boost sales

"Enhancing Soft Sales Skills" will be explored at the Aurora University Sales Institute, a free workshop, at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.13, at the university's Orchard Center campus, 2245 Sequoia Drive in Aurora.

The public is invited. Admission, refreshments and parking are free.

Guest speaker will be Conor Cunneen of Naperville, a professional sales and marketing motivational speaker and author.

At 8 a.m., Cunneen will discuss how enhancing communications skills can help build and deepen client relationships and grow sales.

According to the speaker, communication, trust and, empathy are critical elements in building, maintaining and reinforcing client-customer relationships.

Detailing the gift of GAB - goals, attitude and behavior - Cunneen will look at both macro goals and five daily micro goals; how attitude determines customer relationships and how behavior creates the brand known as YOU.

A motivational sales and marketing speaker and author, Cunneen has worked in senior sales and marketing positions in Ireland, England and USA. While overseas, he achieved record results which earned him promotion to vice president of marketing at Unilever Foodservice USA.
