Phillips Chevrolet marks 50th anniversary

FRANKFORT - Phillips Chevrolet is celebrating 50 years in business in October.

The dealership was founded in 1968 by Phil Pascarella in downtown Frankfort with a two-car showroom, 12 employees, and an inventory of 40 cars. In the intervening years, Phillips has grown to encompass three locations of over 150,000 total square feet, with more than 350 employees and over 1,600 cars and 45 RVs in their inventory.

In its 50 year history, Phillips Chevrolet has undergone several expansion projects, including the addition of two more locations in Lansing in 2013 and Bradley in 2017. Oct. 1 marked the fifth anniversary of the Lansing location, as well as the 50th anniversary for the business.

Phillips Chevrolet has been the Number 1 selling Chevy dealer in Illinois for 12 years in a row and has earned dozens of awards for both sales volume and customer satisfaction from General Motors, as well as consumer advocate organizations like DealerRater and Edmunds.com.

"We couldn't have achieved our success and longevity without the hard work and dedication of every member of our team, as well as the support of our local communities," says Curtis Pascarella, President of Phillips Chevrolet.

Phillips Chevrolet is located at the corner of Routes 30 and 45 in Frankfort, in Lansing just south of Interstate 80 on Torrence Avenue, and in Bradley at Interstate 57 and Route 50.
