Camping World expanding to Greenville, North Carolina

Camping World Holdings Inc. said Tuesday that the Overton's showroom in North Carolina will continue to operate with a multi-branded offering showcasing Overton's water sport products, Gander Outdoors and Camping World products and services for the outdoor enthusiast in addition to Gander RV Sales.

"The Greenville market and all the outdoor enthusiasts that patronize that area are important to us and we want to keep bringing them the best products in our portfolio," said Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis.

The new rebranded location, which has plans to reopen by end of the year, will focus on sales of a full assortment of RVs, parts, accessories and services and an assortment of the best Gander Outdoors, Camping World and Overton's products on the market. The location will continue to serve as a customer call center and an e-commerce center fulfilling online purchases, in addition to adding a distribution center.

V. Parker Overton founded Overton's in 1975 after he began selling water skis out of a town grocery store in Greenville. The company eventually become the world's largest watersports and marine accessories dealer through its catalog and internet operations before being sold in 2003.

"Mr. Overton has been instrumental in showing us the strength and power of business in the Greenville market," Lemonis continued. "We are excited to expand our RV and outdoor footprint in Greenville and adding multiple distribution centers to the area in addition to our call center and e-commerce fulfillment center."
