Construction begins on two speculative buildings

Peak Construction Corp. said it has been awarded Black Creek Group's two building O'Hare development and has started construction.

The facility on Sesame Street in Bensenville will be a 116,294 square foot speculative facility with 106 parking spaces.

And a speculative facility at Wall and LaSalle streets in Mount Prospect will be 132,270 square feet with 176 parking spaces and 27 dock positions.

Both projects recently broke ground and are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Peak in Des Plaines joins the O'Hare project team along with Dayton Street Partners as the developer/construction manager and who assembled and secured both sites and put together the development teams, Cornerstone Architects as the Architect, Cage Civil Engineering as the Civil Engineer on the Bensenville facility and SpaceCo Inc. as the Civil Engineer on the Mount Prospect facility.
