T.J. Maxx to open in St. Charles Sunday

T.J. Maxx will open a new store in St. Charles on Kirk Road and Route 64 on Sunday, Oct. 22.

The retailer features fashion and accessories to jewelry, home, beauty, pet products, toys and more.

"Our newest store in St. Charles will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that T.J. Maxx is known for. Our buyers search the globe to discover the best in every department, and we're excited to bring those finds to a new neighborhood," said T.J. Maxx President Tim Miner. "With thousands of new items delivered to our stores every day, we know our shoppers will find something surprising and unexpected every time they shop."

Reusable bags will be given to the first 500 customers on Sunday's grand opening from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 24,716-square-foot store is in Main Street Commons at 3565 E. Main St.

In celebration of its new location, T.J. Maxx will contribute to the surrounding community by presenting a $10,000 donation to a local charity at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Since its first store opening in 1977, T.J. Maxx has opened more than 1,000 stores spanning 49 states and Puerto Rico.
