New dentist takes over practice

West Aurora Family Dental, formally known as Bancroft Family Dental, introduces JoLynn Janckila who has taken over the practice after the recent passing of Dr. Bancroft. West Aurora Family Dental is now a part of the DecisionOne Dental Partners network. "Dr. Bancroft was foremost in our minds, as we searched for a dentist whose values would align with his. We know Dr. Janckila was the right choice because like Dr. Bancroft, she is committed to improving the health of her patients through excellent and thorough dental care," said Dr. AJ Acierno, DecisionOne Dental CEO.

Dr. Janckila received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University-Illinois, and has been working the last two years as an associate dentist at a private practice in Janesville, Wisconsin. Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from South Dakota State University, where she was a member of the women's varsity soccer team. With her recent engagement, she has now moved to Aurora with her fiancé, Ryan, and their dog, Cooper.

"I share Dr. Bancroft's passion for using creativity and artistry in dentistry. My goal is to make sure each and every patient has a healthy and beautiful smile," said Dr. Janckila.

In recognition of Dr. Bancroft, for every patient visiting office in the next six months Dr. Janckila will make a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Dr. Bancroft's name and there will be a card at the practice for patients to sign. An open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18. West Aurora Family Dental is located at 1940 W Galena Blvd #7 in Aurora.
