Wipfli's Stricker, Kane named a 'Top 100 ProAdvisor'

Wipfli announced partner Mark Stricker and manager Rich Kane have been named 2017 Top 100 ProAdvisors by Insightful Accountant.

The publication is an independent news and information source written specifically for the small business advisor who needs to stay current on the latest news and offerings in accounting technology. This list recognizes the leading consultants who have embraced the ProAdvisor program.

Stricker is a tax partner on Wipfli's business advisory services team who specializes in small business accounting software consulting and is an Advanced QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. With over 20 years of experience in the public accounting area, he has extensive experience helping business owners maximize their financial reporting with their accounting software in order to streamline and manage their businesses. Stricker is a certified public accountant and an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with certifications in QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Online Edition and QuickBooks Point of Sale. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business and accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is based in the firm's Palatine office.

Kane is a manager on Wipfli's business advisory services team. He is an Advanced QuickBooks® ProAdvisor, a member of the Intuit Trainers/Writers Network, and a Top 100 ProAdvisor for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Kane has experience in all facets of accounting, including client accounting and tax, and works with clients on day to day transactions. His specialty is QuickBooks, including sales, installation, training, support and third-party applications. A certified public accountant, Kane is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the AICPA's Information Management and Technology Assurance Committee, and the Illinois CPA Society. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business from Northeastern Illinois University and a master of business administration degree in finance from Loyola University. Kane is based in the firm's Buffalo Grove office.
