Portillo's wants to serve beer in Rolling Meadows
Portillo's is requesting a liquor license to be able to sell beer at its Rolling Meadows location.
The restaurant at 1900 W. Golf Road would become the 44th Portillo's location to serve alcohol, out of 48 in the chain. A company spokesman said only beer would be served: Miller Lite, Sam Adams and a seasonal draft.
Rolling Meadows aldermen will vote Tuesday on an ordinance granting Portillo's a Class D liquor license. They took an early first reading vote April 25 in favor of the company's application.
