Grains mixed, Livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. rose 14.50 cents at $8.1475 a bushel; Sep. corn was up 1.25 cents at $6.2825 a bushel; Sep. oats lost 10 cents at $4.35 a bushel; while Sep. soybeans advanced 3.25 cents at 17.2525 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up .83 cent at $1.3980 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose .47 cent at $1.8027 a pound; Aug. lean hogs gained .12 cent at $1.2242 a pound.
