The Naperville branch of the American Association of University Women will be hosting its Used Book and Media Sale on Aug. 4-6 at Washington Jr. High School, 201 N. Washington St. in Naperville.

They will have 40,000 books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records all locally donated; the majority are priced at $1-$2. The select Treasure Chest items are priced at $5 and up.

Want to have first choice? Sign up for the "First Look" event on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon. Advance tickets $15 available now at aauwnapervillebooksale2022.eventbrite.com. Sales end Aug. 3.

The sale continues with free admission from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5; and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

New this year is Educator's Night from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5. Educators with an ID will receive 50% off all purchases. This is a salute to educators who worked hard to find creative ways to help students thrive under COVID and now face disinformation campaigns.

All proceeds advance gender equity for women through research, education, and advocacy.
