Folk singer Mark Dvorak to perform benefit concert in Batavia

Folk singer and songwriter Mark Dvorak will perform at the next Noteworthy Acoustic Concerts on Sunday, June 26 in Batavia.

The benefit concert begins at 2 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 8 S. Lincoln St. Proceeds will support the Elderday Care Center, housed within Bethany Lutheran.

The original goal of Noteworthy was to create a venue for a diverse array of acoustic performances open to the public.

Dvorak is busy at work on his 20th CD release "Live & Alone," recorded in an empty concert hall during the height of the pandemic lockdown.

General admission tickets are $18, available at the door and at noteworthyacousticconcerts.com.

Elderday Center clients are admitted free.
