Naperville Park District set for kite-flying event

The Naperville Park District will host the Frontier Kite Fly event Sunday at the Frontier Sports Complex, 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, just south of Neuqua Valley High School.

The free event, presented by The Branch-Naperville Moms and supported by KidsMatter, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and feature kites from Chicago Kite. Participants can view the demonstration or fly their own kites.


Musical entertainment, including from the steel drum ensembles at Neuqua Valley and Metea Valley high schools, and games will be provided. Food trucks from Go Doggy Go, John's Ribs, and Ben and Jerry's will offer food for purchase.

Sponsors include Visit Naperville, LeafGuard, West Side Children's Therapy, Texas Roadhouse, TR Miller, Mathnasium, HomeLight, Raising Cane's, Oswald's, Republic Bank and Your Story Counseling.
