Q&A

What needs to be done to get Congress to work constructively, whether that be senators and representatives of both parties working with each other or Congress itself working with the president?

One thing I know is that our elected officials aren't working towards the interest of the American people. They often push their own agenda. My opponent hasn't worked in the best interest of her constituents. I will reach across the aisle to make sure my constituents are getting the best representation possible. Illinoisans are my main priority. I will work for THE PEOPLE, not the party. Our leaders forgot about this. I won't. It will be a give and take. Our government has been been taking from us for too long, about time we give back.

Do you support continuing the filibuster?

Yes.

What is your position on changing voter access?

We need to keep voting laws on a state level, I would like to see a push for voter Identification. Mail in ballots should only be used in dire circumstances such as, medical, military deployments, out of the country. Federalized elections would open the door to socialism.

Do you recognize that the election of Joe Biden as president in 2020 was legitimate and fair? If not, why?

No, it wasn't fair. I do believe that there was fraudulent evidence that took place in Arizona, Georgia and Michigan. There is evidence that suggest that there indeed was voter fraud.

What, if anything, should Congress do to prevent another violent attack such as the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol?

What violent attack? Oh, you mean the murder of Ashleigh Babbit? The Capitol police shot an UNARMED woman. I was at the rally, I saw BLM and ANTIFA in the crowd, I even alerted police of their presense. Those that who caused damage to THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE, should be prosecuted. But, the media wasn't fair in their coverage.

What do you see as the most important issues to address regarding immigration reform? If you oppose funding for a wall, what steps do you support to try to control illegal immigration?

I will push to finish the wall, under President Trump policy our illegals crossing was a an all time low. The Remain In Mexico policy worked. We have now exceeded 1 MILLION illegals breached our borders. This makes our country unsafe. I want people to come to America, but I want them to come in the LEGAL way. We have doors on our homes to keep the people we love safe. America needs a door. A country that can't control their borders isn't a country.

What do you consider America's role in world affairs? In particular, what should our role be regarding current points of tension involving Russia/Ukraine, the future of Taiwan or other threats of Chinese expansionism and the Middle East?

Our role on the world stage is now a joke, we are weak and our President has shown the world that we aren't the super power we once was. It is embarrassing to see this President represent America's and our interests. Russia and China see our weakness, and it is Biden. Ukraine was safe under the protection of our past Presidents. For God sake, Biden fell asleep in the middle of a U.N. conference! China is steadly become a threat to our Allies. Their human rights violations goes unchecked. Sanctions against China won't help at this point, when they can use Russia to fill those voids. We need to continue strengthening our relationship with Sourh Korea, Taiwan, Philippines and Japen.

Do you acknowledge humans' role in causing climate change? What steps should government be taking to address the issue?

It pretty hard to take climate change seriously, when the climate Czar John Kerry tells us we need to take climate change seriously, while he flies throughout the world in a private leer jet! America paid the ultimate price for climate change ... America is on the hook for the Paris Climate accord. We/the American people pay 80%. They said, the Polar Ice caps would melt away. THEY HAVE INCREASED! America has the lowest emissions in the world. Not sold on climate change.

Please define your position on health care reform, especially as it relates to the Affordable Care Act.

Undo Obamacare, reform is required as a first step towards larger reforms. This law created significant problems. Coverage gains were due to primarily to adding able bodied adults who can work to Medicaid, a government run health care program once intended for the nation's most vulnerable-children, and our disabled, elderly Americans in poverty. Obamacare policies should be repealed and replaced with a free market policies that move towards a greater consumer control of our helath care. Obamacare is top heavy, set up for MORE tax increases, excessive federal regulations and mandates, huge expansion of Medicaid which would go beyond its orginal focus to help the elderly and disabled Americans. Repeal? Definitely.
