Palatine Legion Auxiliary to hold charity steak dinner

The Auxiliary of American Legion Palatine Post 690 in Palatine will hold a steak dinner open to the public to raise funds for charity.

The dinner is 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 11, at American Legion Hall, 122 W. Palatine Road in Palatine. Tickets are $30. The menu will consists of an 8-oz. filet mignon with baked potato, salad, broccoli and dessert. A service bar will be open at the event and a full service bar will be open in the clubroom.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (224)-801-1902 until Feb. 9. If seating is still available the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the door.

The American Legion and Legion Auxiliary are committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in local communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security and devotion to service members and veterans.

"We'd like to invite everyone in our community to come out and enjoy our delicious steak dinner," said Brenda Munagian, president of Palatine's American Legion Auxiliary. "You will also enjoy musical entertainment with your friends or loved ones."
