Aurora church to install senior minister Jan. 9

The Rev. Dr. Brandon Perrine will be installed as senior minister of New England Congregational Church in Aurora during the 10 a.m. worship on Sunday, Jan. 9.

Members and friends are invited. Parking is free. The church is at 406 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora.

The Rev. Dr. Terrill Murff, acting associate conference minister, Fox Valley Association of the Illinois Conference United Church of Christ, will be guest preacher.

The service will be livestreamed and a video recording will be posted afterward on the church YouTube site.

A coffee reception will follow the installation service.

The 8:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Jan. 9, will be canceled to allow all to participate in the installation.

The Rev. Gary McCann recently celebrated his retirement after 35 years of ministry with the church.
