Enjoy Barrington's holiday festivities

Don't miss Barrington's annual Holiday Festival, Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa's Arrival from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Free, family-friendly entertainment includes horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, cookies, hot chocolate, Barrington's White House Open House (enter a raffle for an Ambrosia gingerbread house), Toys for Tots collection, visits with Santa, and more.

Park once and ride the free holiday trolley from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stops include The Foundry, Ice House Mall, Barrington's White House and Cook & Station Street.

Enjoy the Barrington High School Madrigals performance at 4:15 p.m. on the steps of McGonigal's, stay for the tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m., and watch as Santa arrives on the fire truck to take pictures from 5:15-6:15 p.m.
