Santa's arrival Saturday at Deer Park Town Center features fireworks show, tree-lighting

Santa is set to arrive in style Saturday to help kick off the holidays at Deer Park Town Center with a holiday tree-lighting, entertainment and fireworks show.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the shopping center, 20530 N. Rand Road in Deer Park, and will feature Santa arriving aboard a fire truck and a performance by Those Funny Little People, before the tree-lighting and fireworks.

Other upcoming holiday events at Deer Park Town Center include a Toys for Tots collection now through Dec. 10 at the center office, Suite 133; a Black Friday Gift Card Giveaway starting at 10 a.m. Nov. 26; and the Deer Park Cocoa Classic 5K on Saturday, Dec. 11, with proceeds benefiting the Mane in Heaven miniature therapy horses organization.
