Calvary Church of Naperville to host Fall Fest, carnival Oct. 29-31

Calvary Church of Naperville is kicking off the fall season with an on-site carnival on Friday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 31, in the church parking lot off Route 59.

It will feature a pay-to-ride carnival with more than 10 rides including a 45-foot Ferris wheel. This event is open to the community.

This is the first year of the carnival, which is expected to draw large crowds of people looking for something to do on a cool, fall weekend.

It is run by Alpine Amusements, a popular amusement park company serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, and will feature over 10 rides including a 45-foot Ferris wheel, bumper cars and a handful of rides for younger kids.

On Friday, the church will also host a free outdoor Fall Fest. Activities will include pumpkin painting, inflatables, pumpkin carving, hayrides, and hot apple cider.

Carnival hours are: 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 (including free Fall Fest); 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.

Tickets for the carnival will be available on site.
