Don't minimize work of nonmedical doctors
Just because someone has their doctorate in a discipline other than medicine doesn't mean that they haven't worked hard to earn that degree.
I have several MD'S in my family and an uncle who had a doctorate in education, as well as an aunt with one in library science. The medical doctors respected the nonmedical ones.
Your dentist is a doctor of dental surgery. Your attorney has a doctorate of jurisprudence. Your pastor may have a doctorate in divinity. Enough with the assumptions and intolerance!.
