Grains mostly higher, livestock mixed.

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. was off 3 cents at $7.42 a bushel; Dec. corn was up 1.25 cents at $5.3550 a bushel; Dec. oats rose 5.75 cents at $6.65 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans declined 14 cents at $12.3425 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was off .20 cent at $1.2525 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle was up .35 cent at $1.5660 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell 3.10 cents at $.7475 a pound.
