District 62 budget vote is Monday

The Des Plaines Elementary District 62 board will meet Monday to hold a hearing for and then vote on the proposed budget for the 2022 fiscal year.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Forest Elementary School, 1375 Fifth Ave.

The board tentatively approved the roughly $107.9 million spending plan in August. On the other side of the ledger, officials expect to collect nearly $95.5 million in property taxes, fees and other revenue this fiscal year.

The fiscal year began July 1.
