Friends of Geneva Public Library to hold used book sale July 23-25

Thousands of gently-used books in a variety of genres - including a large collection of art books - will be available during the Friends of Geneva Public Library's Book Sale July 23-25 at Geneva Public Library, 227 S. Seventh St.

The sale will begin from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 23, with a special $5 admission fee.

The sale continues, with free entry, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 25.

Book prices are: $2 for adult hardcover and paperback, $1 for adult mass paperback or children's hardcover, and 50 cents for children's paperback or board books.

Money from the sale helps the Friends support library services and programs that serve youth through adults.

Purchases have included STEAM Kits with games, toys and puzzles that offer a hands-on educational experience, laptop tables, acrylic holders for newspapers and magazines, summer reading prizes for kids and adults, and so much more. Learn more about the sale at gpld.org.
