Rise pot shop wants to expand in Mundelein

Mundelein's planning and zoning commission will meet Wednesday to discuss an expansion proposal for the Rise cannabis dispensary, 1325 Armour Blvd. Company officials want to expand into a nearby building at 1570 Baskin Road and build a connection between the two structures. The dispensary serves recreational users and those with medical prescriptions. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
