Watch forum between candidates for Hanover Park village board

Watch candidates for the Hanover Park village board take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The one-hour exchange between incumbents Bob Prigge and Sharmin Shahjahan and challengers Yasmeen Bankole, Tonya Frosheiser and Syed Hussaini was recorded on Feb. 15.

They are competing for three four-year terms on the village board. Liza Gutierrez, who was appointed to the board last year, is running unopposed to complete the final two years of her term.

The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in voting begins on March 10, with early in-person voting to follow soon after.
