Trump is a tool of conservative group

We are in the midst of two events that most of us would never have imagined could happen in our country:

1) the worst pandemic since the 1800s and

2) the attempted destruction of American democracy by the Trump administration and the far-right that support him.

Trump is the "useful-idiot" of the right-wing Council for National Policy (CNP), a tax-exempt "hyper-secretive" Christian Right political powerhouse.

The CNP is an umbrella for conservative think tanks, right-wing religious extremists, Republican operatives, elected officials, wealthy GOP donors dedicated to advancing their social and political agenda. Trump does not have one Christian bone in his body, he is a con-artist. Trump and his far-right enablers in Congress and his administration (many of which are tied to the CNP or its affiliates) are trying to delegitimize the election and refuse to publicly accept the results.

Accepting the results would legitimize the election. In fact, the secretary of state publicly said "There won't be a transfer, frankly. There'll be a continuation." Others have echoed this same talking point. Paul Weyrich, "father" of the right-wing movement, publicly declared "I don't want everybody to vote."

This has become the rallying cry of the GOP. They have long sought to keep minorities and non-conservatives from voting through their voter suppression and intimidation efforts, gerrymandering, and opposition of voter reforms and vote by mail.

Trump rails against vote by mail as fraudulent. Factually, no widespread voter fraud or "illegal votes" have ever been found.

Trump said on FOX, "Republicans would never be elected again if it were easier to vote."

Trump knows he has lost and is doing everything in his power to exact revenge and chaos, including riling up his cult and playing the victim, what Trump does best. Biden-Harris won with 306. To quote GOP from 2016, "Get-over-it."
