9th, 10th District Congressional debate on Oct. 18

The candidates for Illinois' 9th Congressional District and 10th Congressional District seats will meet virtually in an online debate Oct. 18. The discussion will be hosted by Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, a Deerfield synagogue. The event is set for 2 p.m. that day.

The 9th District candidates are Democratic incumbent Jan Schakowsky and Republican challenger Sargis Sangari. The 10th District candidates are Democratic incumbent Brad Schneider and Republican challenger Valerie Ramirez Mukherjee. Both congressional districts include parts of the North and Northwest suburbs.
