Gurnee library to host climate change talk

The Warren-Newport Library will host a virtual event on the science of climate change as part of their "WNPL at home" programming. The talk will be led by Michelle Nichols, who is the Ddrector of Public Observing at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Nichols' presentation will focus on what scientific evidence there is related to climate change and where that data comes from, as well as a look at what the future could hold for the planet. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29. To register for the event, visit wnpl.info. A Zoom link will be posted on the website the day of the event and those who register will get a reminder message.
