Dundee Library serves free cold suppers to kids on Tuesdays & Thursdays

The Dundee Library is hosting free cold suppers for all kids 18 years old and under every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.

The take-away dinners can be picked up in the Youth Services Department on the lower level. The Dundee Library is located at 555 Barrington Ave. in East Dundee.

Dinners are paid for by the Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a federally funded program managed by the USDA and operated by the Illinois State Board of Education in conjunction with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The program will continue through Thursday, May 20, 2021.

The district serves 70,000 residents of Carpentersville, East Dundee, West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts, and parts of Algonquin.
