Aurora teens charged in Naperville armed robbery
Two Aurora teenagers have been charged in connection with an Aug. 25 armed robbery of two juveniles in Naperville, authorities said.
The victims had arranged to meet up with other subjects on the 1400 block of 95th Street to sell nicotine vape cartridges, according to a news release from Naperville police. When they arrived about 5:23 p.m., they were robbed at gunpoint of the vaping products and an undisclosed amount of cash.
An investigation led to the arrests of two 17-year-olds from Aurora, one on Sept. 3 and the other Wednesday, officials said. Both were charged as juveniles with armed robbery, a Class X felony, and released to their parents.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Naperville police at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
