Schaumburg Park District offers various swim lessons

Learn to swim at Schaumburg Park District.

Individual and semiprivate lessons are available for ages 3 to adult at The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. All levels are welcome.

"Swimming is an important life skill, and the more you practice, the more comfortable you will be," said Alexandra Walters, aquatics supervisor.

"Our patient and enthusiastic instructors will guide you every step of the way."

To keep patrons and staff safe, swim instructors will wear face masks when not submerged in water. Additional safety measures include enhanced cleaning procedures at all facilities, as well as limited facility access.

Swim lesson options include:

• Youth individual

• Youth semiprivate (family)

• Adult individual

• Schedule your own
