Bradbury Dandelion Wine Arts & Music Festival canceled

The 21st annual Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine Arts & Music Festival, scheduled for June 13 in Waukegan, has been canceled due to COVID-19 precautions, but will be replaced with a virtual event that day, the Waukegan Park District announced Friday. More information on the virtual plan will be announced in the future.

The free annual event celebrates the start of summer, showcasing local and regional artists and venues while remembering one of Waukegan's favorite sons, author and visionary, Ray Bradbury. The festival normally features multiple music and entertainment stages, family creative art projects, and more than 30 artists and crafters. More information is at waukeganparks.org.
