CLC's virtual gala raises funds for student success

The College of Lake County Foundation is hosting a virtual "No-Gala" Gala, through April 27, to help support scholarships and grants for scores of students.

It replaces the annual in-person gala, which had been planned for April 18 but was canceled due to COVID-19.

The weeklong virtual fundraising event offers several ways to come together online, and celebrates CLC's commitment to its students and the college's 50 years of educating students in Lake County.

There are several ways to engage and support the Foundation's mission: Buy tickets for a 50/50 cash and prize raffle; Watch inspirational videos from student scholarship recipients, alumni testimonials and messages from college leadership; Make an online contribution in support of student success; Follow the CLC Foundation on Facebook

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, CLC moved classes to an alternative delivery model and canceled all in-person events.
