Batavia Rotary Club is hosting donation drive

The Batavia Rotary Club is hosting a donation drive for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry by donating $1,000.

There are two ways you can help!

Did you know that every $1 donated equals $8 in purchasing power?

Rotary District 6440 has agreed to match the Batavia Rotary Club's $1,000 donation, meaning the combined $2,000 donation equals $16,000 of purchasing power.

Let's keep it going! You can help the food pantry by donating at bataviafoodpantry.org/support.

Additional donations are needed, such as protein-rich foods like tuna, chicken and beans (no fresh meat); ready-to-eat soups, cake mix and brownie mix.

Deliver donated food items directly to the food pantry, 100 Flinn St. Call (630) 879-3784 to find out the hours.

The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry has been serving the community since 1981. Let's hope them continue their mission.
